Whitehough is the perfect location for you to stay as you look to achieve your DofE Award as either a training or qualifying venue!
Whitehough is situated close to the base of Pendle Hill in an area of natural beauty, surrounded by some great walking routes. The centre has great links to local towns and amenities, as well as the m65.
Our onsite classrooms, conference rooms and outdoor space can also be used for the delivery of the expedition section criteria, either on a day basis or as a residential training programme.
We have a number of accommodation options where your group can bed down for the night. Our camping field, toilet and shower facilities can accommodate small and large groups easily from just £4 per person.
Alternatively, with recent changes to the 20 Expedition Conditions now allowing the use of basic indoor accommodation, our dormitory blocks are a low cost alternative to camping, from just £15pp.
Whitehough Lodge, overlooking the camping field, is available for staff who may prefer a solid roof over their heads.
